Ati Radeon 9800 Xt Driver Download Install Update
Can anyone out threr tell me where to either get a new card like this one or which one would be comaptible or can I brdge somehow to use a PCI-E card. If anyone has any ideas that would be good. The XT was notorious for defects esp. I suggest the card is replaced with an or X Both are very cheap on ebay these days. Basically the bad drivers in XP would cause Direct3D to not work right at all, which very well may be your problem in Vista You could try disabling Vista's Aero desktop.
