As I said in my post before this is an after purchase modification. That means that the OEM of this card is Intel because they are the manufacturer of the card.

This means that anyone can purchase this product and install in themselves. Farther more my laptop did not come with This adapter in it. I have an HP laptop and they always want to use cheap wireless adapters in there products to keep the cost down.
I purchased this card because of the environment that I use my laptop in. I am a college student and the school that I go to has the 2. My school has true HP does not install I purchased and installed this card so I can get the maximum use out of the schools Wi-Fi and in high traffic areas the 2.
I also got it because of the conversion to My laptop just feel out of warranty as of September. So I can means I can do anything I want to this laptop now because that means HP has stop supporting it.
I have had this Wireless Adapter in my laptop for almost a year now and have had very little problems with it. The only thing I ask if that when Intel releases drivers they release the end users version and the IT Professional version on the same time.
Unfortunately we do not have a release date for the version you are looking for. However, we would like to let you know that installing or upgrading the various Intel wireless adapters by end users is not supported by Intel. Replacing an adapter associated with specific wireless software with a different type of adapter may cause your adapter to have issues connecting or give software error messages. The reason we are telling you this is because we want you to enjoy our product with everything it can offer.
Please consider that the manufacturer of you computer may not have designed the system in your computer to work with this adapter you installed as it has to obey regulatory requirements. That is one of the reasons Intel does sell these adapters directly to end users.
Rob, you can install those drivers on top of what you're already using. The end user package simply includes installers for ProSet and the driver files. You don't get anything different regarding the actual driver files which provide the functionality of the card. For my use, I only use the Admin sets, because I don't use ProSet and don't want to run an installer. It's a simple matter of unzipping the file to a folder on the PC, clicking on Update Driver in Device Manager, and then browsing to the saved folder where the drivers are.
You really don't need anything else to make the card work. If you have ProSet installed and want to keep using it, you can do the same thing as above.
