It controls the 8 ports on the ROMB card and is independent of any ports rid the motherboard itself. Users must decide which RAID option is right for their usage and environment.

The browser version you are using is not recommended for this site. Apologies for the inconvenience. Enabled On board raid and built raid 1 with GB’s On the Xenserver install it showed both drives and asked me to choose which one to install and which one I wanted as shared data location.
Already have an account? No problem as just testing but I want to understand this better as it appears it is not handling the raid very well.
