I am pleasantly surprised to see how easily and fast it drives screws home at just the right torque setting and depth. The 16 stage torque control is brilliant and the lowest settings I’ve used on fine work with good results. Any dust, grease, dirt, drill filings etc. The charger has an indicator light to show when the battery is full.

Similar Drills Makita FS I have seen these drills at flea markets for very cheap prices but the batteries were fairly stuffed. A free-spinning metal grip at the end of the chuck is great for fine work control without friction-burning your fingers. I would imagine that some drills would still be OK but have been cast aside due to the batteries being worn out.

Is it possible to buy Makita power Drill no D on its own as a replacement? The 18V Sub-Compact Driver-Drill is part of a new class of compact, with the size and weight of lower voltage tools but with the performance, power and compatibility of 18V.
The forward and reverse switch is nicely placed for single handed operation and the two position speed control is located on the top. The other alternative might be drkll second hand unit maybe from Gumtree or eBay.
Trade Tools, Virginia, in Brisbane, had replacement batteries when I last looked and no doubt they could be ordered. Do more with less. You may find one as old stock in a hardware store or online.

The keyless chuck makes for fast changing of bits but it is not as good at holding drills as a keyed chuck however this might be the same for all keyless chucks.
